የኮምቦልቻ ፖሊቴክኒክ ኮሌጅ ሠራተኞችና ሰልጣኞች የአረንጓዴ አሻራ ችግኝ ተከላ መርሀ ግብር አካሄዱ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- የኮምቦልቻ ፖሊቴክኒክ ኮሌጀጅ አሰልጣኝ መምህራን፣ ሰልጣኞችና አስተዳደር ሠራተኞች "ኮሌጃችንን በችግኞች በማልበስ የአረንጓዴ አሻራችንን ለታሪክ እናስቀር" በሚል መሪ ቃል ለአራተኛ ዙር ችግኞችን መትከል ጀምረዋል። የኮሌጁ ዲን አቶ መላኩ አራጋው ዘንድሮው ለአራተኛ ዙር እየተካሄደ ያለውን አገር አቀፍ የአረንጓዴ አሻራ መርሃ ግብር በመደገፍ እኛም ኮሌጃችንን በተለያዩ ችግኞች በማልበስ ለመማር ማስተማሩ ሂደት ምቹ፣ ውብ፣ ሳቢና ማራኪ በማድረግ የድርሻችንን ማበርከት ይገባል ብለዋል። በዚህ 'ኮሌጃችንን በችግኞች እናልብስ' የችግኝ ተከላ ማስጀመሪያ መርሀ ግብር ላይ የኮሌጁ ዲን እንደተናገሩት ሶስቱንም ካምፓሶች በችግኞች በማልበስ ሁሉም የኮሌጁ አሰልጣኞች፣ ሰልጣኞችና አስተዳደር ሠራተኞች ታሪካዊ የአረንጓዴ አሻራቸውን ማኖር ብቻ ሳይሆን እያንዳንዱ ግለሰብ የተከላቸው ችግኞች መፅደቃቸውንና ማደጋቸውን በቅርበት መከታተል ይገባል ብለዋል። የዘንድሮው የችግኝ ተከላ መርሃ ግብር በሶስቱም ካምፓሶች በሶስት የተለያዩ ቀናት በትኩረት እንደሚካሄድም የኮሌጁ ዲን አቶ መላኩ ተናግረዋል። የኮሌጁን ግቢዎች በችግኝ ተከላ በደን የተሸፈነ ማድረግ አረንጓዴ፣ ነፋሻማ፣ ሳቢና ማራኪ የስልጠና አካባቢ እንዲኖር ከማስቻሉም በላይ በኮሌጁ ዙሪያ የአፈር መሸርሸርን እና የአካባቢ ብክለትን ለማስቀረት ይረዳል። በተጨማሪም የፍራፍሬና አትክልት ችግኞችን በሁሉም ካምፖሶች አብዝቶ መትከሉ ከደንም ያለፈ ጥቅም እንዳላቸው በኮሌጁ የግብርና ዘርፍ አሰልጣኝና ባለሙያ አቶ አብዱሻኪር ሰይድ ገልፀዋል። የአትክልትና ፍራፍሬ ችግኞችን በብዛት መትከል ተንከባክቦ ማሳደግ የኮሌጁን የውስጥ ገቢ ለማሳደግ ከፍተኛ ጥቅም እንዳለው ባለሙያው አቶ አስረድተዋል። የግብርና ባለሙያውና አሰልጣኙ አብዱሻኪር በተጨባጭ ማስረጃ እንደገለፁት ከ15 አመታት በፊት በሀርቡ ግብርና ካምፓስ የተተከሉ ለምግብነት የሚውሉ የፍራፍሬ ተክሎች ምርት አየተሰበሰበ ለኮሌጁ ሠራተኞች በዝቅተኛ ዋጋ የሚቀርበው የማንጎ፣ የአቮካዶ፣ ፓፓያና የብርቱካን ምርት ለኮሌጁ ሠራተኞች ፍራፍሬዎችን በዝቅተኛ ክፍያ አገልግሎት እንዳገኙ ራሱን የቻለ አስተዋፅፆ ከማድረጉም በላይ ከፍራፍሬ ሽያጬ የሚገኘው ገንዘብ ለኮሌጁ እንደ ገቢ ማመንጫ በመሆን የውስጥ ገቢን በማሳደግ ኮሌጁ በየጊዜው እየገጠመው ያለውን የበጀት እጥረት በተወሰነ ደረጃም ቢሆን መደጎም አስችሏል። ከሌጁ ሰራተኞችንና ሰልጣኞችን በማስተባበር በተሰጣቸው የኮሌጁ ሼሻበር ካምፓስ የተለያዩ አካባቢዎች ከ370 በላይ የተለያዩ ችግኞች የተከሉ ሲሆን ፣ በቀጣይ ደግሞ በሀርቡና ቦርከና ካምፓሶች ተመሳሳይ የችግኝ ተከላው እንደሚቀጥል ታውቋል። የችግኝ ተከላው ቀጣይነት ባለው ሁኔታ በተቋሙ አመታዊ እቅድ ተካቶ ይሰራልም ተብሏልም። =========================================== Kombolcha Polytechnic College staff and trainees Conduct sapling plantation program Teachers, trainees and management staff of Kombolcha Polytechnic have started planting saplings for the fourth round under the motto "Let's leave our green legacy for history by dressing our college with saplings". The dean of the college added that the sapling plantation program will be conducted in all the three campuses of the college. Afforestation of the college premises with saplings will not only provide a green, breezy, attractive and conducive training environment, but will also help prevent soil erosion and pollution around the college. Mr. Abdu Shakir, a trainer and expert in the college's agricultural training sector, said that planting more fruit seedlings in all campuses is beneficial. The agriculturist explained that the planting and nurturing of edible fruit seedlings in large numbers will contribute greatly to increasing the internal revenue of the college. According to the expert, fruit plants that had been planted at the Harbu Agricultural Campus 15 years before have now been harvested and distributed among the college staff at lower prices. The money gained from the sale of the fruits is used to increasing the internal revenue of the college- hence serving as a means of income generation. The income generation from the sale of fruits makes it possible to subsidize the budget deficit that the college has constantly faced. The staff and trainees of the college have, according to the information obtained from the college's General Services Officer, planted more than 370 different seedlings in the Sheshabar Campus, the college's main campus. The sapling plantation process will continue in the remaining Harbu and Borkena campuses.
